Our Caregivers

Our caregivers come from diverse backgrounds with wide-ranging interests and varying life experiences. Their passion, enthusiasm and positive approach ensure that quality care is delivered consistently every time all the time.

This is aptly captured by our recent CQC report:

The service was caring. People told us that care workers were kind and treated them respectfully. People and their relative’s told us their views were listened to and staff communicated effectively with them. People were supported by a small number of staff, which helped people’s needs and preferences to be understood and acted on.

At Unicare you can expect to be treated with dignity and respect, valued as a unique individual and supported to enjoy a fulfilling and enriching quality of life. We make every effort to carefully match our clients’ needs, preferences and circumstances with caregivers who equally understand and empathise with the client. This entails a stringent recruitment and selection process and procedure to ensure that our organisation and staff are not only compliant with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, but also fit to deliver care with compassion.

Special emphasis is equally placed on ensuring that a structured process of induction, shadowing and continuous training, supervision and personal development is in place to maintain the high quality service expected of a compliant domiciliary care service.
